What if pillows could talk?
Low-maintenance, hypothetical BEST FRIEND :)

No like for real, what if pillows could talk?
That would be super fun. I fantasize about it every day.
The conversations we’d have with our pillows, those dreams and stories, sorrows and joys, well, probably a hundred other things.
Let’s imagine you had an awful day, you get home and crash in your bed and this voice whispers — Hi bud, welcome back.
I bet, that every time you’ve felt low or cried, there would’ve always been a pillow by your side to comfort you and give you company and it might’ve seen you during your best and worst.
Every night would be lovely as you’d be able to talk about your inner world without any guilt. When one is not quite okay, outer space seems overwhelming and wants to be accompanied, here there’s a pillow to the rescue.
In a hypothetical scenario, it could support and calm you with its words. A pillow never leaves even if it’s your mistake. It would rather put you to sleep, funny, isn’t it?
Have you ever thought about how pillows view the world?
Well, I did think about it, while a pillow lies under the covers, it might have an understanding, because it daily sees how human behaviour changes every moment.
What if it might observe how time passes and record your dreams, hopes and griefs?
The actual connection between us and the pillow would be seen only in the dark, our thoughts slip into dreams, and we lay our head on its smooth and cosy surface, but then it drafts a complicated variety of experiences, fantasies and emotions.
They dry away the tears of our heartache and unreally protect our wounded spirits. Not only do we hide our faces in their covers but we also search for hope and understanding, which quietly speaks.
Do you think that in this unreal world where pillows can communicate, the need for human relationships might decrease?
Why would you want to interact with others when you have a loving, tolerant pillow by your side?
If your answer is a yes, then it doesn’t work that way. As we picture such thoughts in our heads, we are constantly reminded of the incomparable depths of human interaction.
Human connections should be prioritized, no?
Trust me, human connections are genuinely worth everything. Be it our family, partner or friends. We learn a lot about life and they also provide opportunities for growth in various subjects we wouldn’t have expected.

Understandings, experiences and ideas are shared, which helps us shape our minds on how we look at ourselves and the outside world. Perspectives play an important role and it would help us grow both emotionally and physically.
Stay calm and listen to what the opposite person has to offer, not to prove your point, but to understand how the person is feeling, that solves 80% of the problems.
How could we forget the shared laughter, the warmth of one tight hug or those meaningful talks we share with people around us? All that can never be replaced; those are a few of the many things pillow talks will never really capture.
Oh, wait, I know it could be very entertaining to fantasize about random situations where pillows were able to interact. But should we not appreciate the comfort of human interactions that strengthen our lives in ways that pillows could never? No, right?
Again, we hypothetically can’t deny the simplicity of “The Pillow’s” company, but in reality, it is how you connect with humans who genuinely listen to you and tell you where you’re wrong.
Unquestioningly, relationships are extremely important in our lives, be it with happiness, excitement, sadness, or grief. But love, trust, understanding, and connection are things that the human heart truly craves.
Also, let us respect the precious connections we have with others, understanding the special effect each one of them has played on defining who we are at this point.
